My reply to Jim Earl Swilley

( I am updating my reply to Jim Earl Swilley(Jr)-Jim tells me his Dad has the same

name)

I first saw Jim Earl Swilley ( jr) when he came to New Life Bible School in Cleveland Tennessee in the late 1980's or early 1990's. Jim says he worked for Norvel Hayes, or headed up a division of the bible school.

I know if he was hooked up with Norvel he would have had to adhere to certain strict biblical doctrines in the historic sense. Norvel was Baptist before Pentecostal.

Belief in hell, belief in the born again experience. Since salvation is a gift, it must be received.

A few years ago while surfing the net, I saw that Carlton Pearson was to be a featured speaker at Church in the Now. (here is a u-tube video of carlton talking about astrology-not at church in the now) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FYkuLHoDskY

I wondered what was "church in the now "so I went to the website and saw that it was Jim Swilley.

I was very surprised since at this time Carlton was espousing his inclusion gospel, or christian universalism heresy. I thought to myself what has happened to the Jim Swilley that I saw at New Life. This would not happen at Norvel's ministry.

I quickly or too quickly put up a post about Jim. Since then we have been in communicaton by email or on his blog .

I must say, he is the first person to respond to a post on my website I am glad that he did.

I have asked Jim if he believes in hell, if he believes in the born again experience, but he will not tell me.

Anyway, this link to an article is basically what he told me he believes. This is a link to a so called "christian universalism" website.

(be careful here-it is quite confusing-I do not promote these doctrines in any way or I will say heresy. I believe there is a hell and I do not believe Christ is in all-only those who ask, believe and receive the free gift of eternal life).

So what about the lake of fire and the book of life-seems like no reconciliation for all

I am adding scriptures from the King James bible to refute all this. I found when I used to many different bible translations, it brought about too much confusion, because you can basically make the bible say what you want.

One suspicious "bible" talked about mysticism and the NIV "bible" says satan is the morning star. (Isa 14:12) never inspired version. When I didn't know any better I said "Wow look, I thought Jesus was the morning star. The light went on one day, when I said something wrong with this translation.

now the niv perversion- 5 Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus: 6 Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, 7 but made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. 8 And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to death-- even death on a cross! 9 Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name,( notice they lower the Lordship of Jesus by saying Jesus did not consider equality with God something to be grasped-What He was GOD!!!!

Jim, do you believe there is a Hell for people who are not personally born again?? Do you believe we must be born again?? What is your doctrine of reconciliation? How does one get to heaven?? My Take On Todd Bentley

At first I felt sorry for Todd. I tuned into God TV to view the "revival" for my self. I wanted to judge for myself. I thought poor Todd, he must have got those tattoo's before he got saved and now he has to live with them. I came to find out he tattooed himself after he got saved. OH!

And some of the markings were occultic. (link to explanation of Todd's tattoo's) The chin piercing, the eyebrow piercing, I figured out we were being set up to accept anything and anyone, especially after he had Paul Cain on the platform, a known homosexual. Now I know God can and does forgive anyone, but Paul said on the platform that he never married and had been celibate all his life. I go ot oh!

Then I figure out, go ahead lie outright and see if Christians will buy it, and sure enough the crowds never dwindled and people still came out in droves. Sounds like Antchrist to me, he will lie, but he will do miracles, so God must be with him. This scares me!

Todd said people were going to get financial breakthroughs. They were to have a special night for finances. So I am waiting to see how they take up the offering, and of course there is a catch, you must first give an offering before God will even hear your prayer for finances. A very, very stern God who sits on His throne and if you do not pay Him he will not bless you. Plead and cry all you want, but their God will not respond until you "sow seeds."

I listened To Todd on a you tube video, one lie after another ( here is the link). He says that his mother levitated and someone wrote 666 on a cabinet (supposedly a demon)when he went out to get the mail. I just cannot believe this, and neither should you.

Especially when I see people he touches act like they have a severe form of epilepsy. Too weird!!! I must warn you, stay away from this so called revival. You do not have to go to Lakeland to get a miracle. God is with you right where you are. Your prayers are just as powerful and anointed as anyone else's. You do not have to leave your house to get the anointing, we as born again believers are all anointed, and we serve the true anointed one, Jesus Christ! . 26 These things have I written unto you concerning them that seduce you. 27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him. 1 John 2 ( to be continued

TD Jakes-set the captives FREE-

T.D. Jakes and other pastors will tell you that God will punish you, or curse you if you do not give them 10% of your income. And if you spend it on yourself or your lusts, then you are really cursed!

But, if they had read their bibles, which they should do before they "preach" on a subject. I heard Mr. Jakes say on tv, that you cannot spend your tithe on your lusts, but God says you can. So who is right??? God or T.D.??? Your pastor or GOD???

And thou (meaning you) shalt bestow ( or spend) that MONEY FOR WHATSOEVER THY SOUL LUSTETH AFTER!!!

TITHING-Why I believe in FREEWILL Giving

(and not tithing)

The bible makes it very clear to all that have ears to hear about tithing. It is a subject that creates heated debates, but the truth is in God's word for all to see.

A few years ago I went on a search for the truth and I spent about three months studying every scripture on the tithe, giving, freewill, tenth, storehouse, seed, curse and all the words that pertain to the subject. I found out just about everything I had heard from other preachers was not true.

For you to find out the truth, you MUST study every scripture and not just pull one verse out of context to create a doctrine of fear and manipulation. This is abuse!!! Pastors and teachers who do not rightly divide the Word will be held accountable.

How can some teach we must Walk by Faith, yet the leaders will not do this? Instead they beat you up with saying God will curse you if you do not give your 10%, put sickness on your family, remove His protection and a host of other threats. Is God a Mafia don? If you do not pay up you die? I would hit the door running and not go back. What bondage!

Jesus redeemed us from any and all curses. Read Galatians 3, The law is not of FAITH-Christ hath REDEEMED us from the curse of the LAW- The blessing of Abraham comes on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ-not through paying tithes.

They say Abraham paid tithes to Melchizedek, but if you read Genesis 14 carefully you will see that Abraham did not take any of his own money, property or anything that belonged to him and give it to Melchizedek. He gave him the spoils of war.

The King of Sodom offered the spoils to Abraham, he did not say, Hey Abraham, you know that tithe belongs to me, he wanted to give it to Abraham, but Abraham refused it and said-verse 21 of Genesis 14, that Melchizedek should take the goods to himself-but Abraham said I would not even take a shoelachet, lest anyone say I have made Abraham rich. Abraham was not even thinking about giving tithes so he could get something in return.

Now the most abused scripture they use on you to make you tithe or else!! Malachi 3:8-11. When your pastor pulls that one out , beware, you are about to be manipulated, if you do not get out your bible and read the whole book of Malachi. I read the whole book one day and this is what I found. The priests in chapter one tried to offer that which was torn and lame(verse 13), in verse 10 God says I HAVE NO PLEASURE IN YOU-NEITHER WILL I ACCEPT AN OFFERING AT YOUR HAND. Most preachers will tell you no matter what you give God will accept it, but God says He Will Not!!

Then in Chapter 2 the Lord in verse 2 says He will send a CURSE on the priests- He says He will corrupt your seed and spread dung upon your face. Very graphic!! Who is cursed now???

Verse 10"Why do you deal treacherously?

Chapter 3 verse 3" Shall purify the sons of Levi, purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the Lord an offering in righteousness.

As you continue reading on In Malachi 3, you will see the rebuke is not against the person who does not tithe, but the rebuke is for the priest who mishandled the tithe, the priest who offered a corrupt thing. Who ROBBED GOD and oppressed the people!!!!In verse 5 you see that God will bring judgment on those that oppress the widow, the fatherless and the stranger

Bring all the tithes into the storehouse and the storehouse was a chamber or a real building ( a storehouse). Not the temple or church building. It is not where you get fed the word. Grow up and feed yourself!! We need teachers, but you are responsible for knowing what the word says. Humans can be wrong.

God says so that there may be meat in my house, which was food not MONEY!! All the tithing scriptures refer to food. Please show me one scripture where the tithe was ever money??????

Even Jesus in the new Testament said it was food. He told the Pharisees they tithe mint and cumin but forget about love? He told them they were hypocrites. Mathew 23:23 and Luke 11:42. He never said they tithed their money. (more to come)

FREEWILL GIVING

One very interesting thing that I found out that in the old testament financial offerings were taken or given on a freewill basis. Scripture bears this out. Read De 23:23- freewill offering, read 2 Ch 31:14 freewill offering, Ezra 1:4 freewill offering, Ezra 3:5 freewill offering, Ezra 7:16 freewill offering, Ezra 8:28 freewill offering, Exodus 35:29 freewill offering, given from a willing heart, Exodus 35:21 Spirit made willing, Exodus 25:2 giveth it willingly with his heart, Le 22:18 freewill offering, Le 23:38 freewill offering, Num 15:3 freewill offering, Num 29;39 freewill offering, De 16:10 freewill offering.

All this coincides with new testament giving- 2 Corinthians 9:7 Every man as He purposeth in his heart, so let him give, not grudgingly, or of NECESSITY( which means because you have to) .

Ted Haggard-Uncovered

Another sad story! My first and only encounter with Ted Haggard was over 10 years ago. A friend of mine was holding meetings at his church and he gave me his phone number. He said give Ted a call and see if he will book you to speak at his church.

I called Ted and got him on the phone and told him I would be available for a preaching engagement. His reply was"You mean you make your own telephone calls"- I was shocked by this comment. Yeah, I thought I pick up the phone myself and call people. Anyway, "brother" Ted and I never spoke again. I personally thought he was weird.

Years ago Alberto Rivera said people were being sent into the charismatic movement as plants of the catholic church, to try to destroy the true church from within. I believe Ted Haggard is a plant. His personal life and his reprobate behavior prove it.

Another prime example why you must never turn your life over to your pastor. Coming under authority and unconditional submission is not biblical. We submit to one another and come under the absolute authority of the Lord Jesus Christ and His word.

Ted had all kinds of "coverings" and he went undetected for years. He refused the counsel of concerned Christians who questioned his doctrines and tried to help him stay biblical. Most famous "leaders refuse correction, yet they are keen on controlling you.

I hope Ted will really get born again, he was a great actor, to the undiscerning. Beware of wolves in sheep's clothing!!

Randi and Cathy Lechner-False Profits

I encountered Cathy Lechner over 10 years ago. I was taken to one of her meetings, I found a vulnerable lady, who believed she had a "gift" and had to prove it, even if she made things up.

No, she never prophesied to me, but my very good friends were prophi-lied to especially about marriage partners. She even told them who their partners would be-none of it came to pass.

Cathy asked for over $7,000. to have dental work done, at one meeting I was at. This stunned me, since there were people in our congregation who had no teeth, or missing teeth. I wondered why people at our church wouldn't pay for there dental work, but would help Cathy have cosmetic dental work done?

Her husband Randi has his own problems. He also gave false prophecies to my friends, yet pastors continue to invite these two, for more show business, even if what they tell people is not true, they bring in big offerings.

You do not need someone to give you a personal prophecy about your life. Born again believers have the Holy Spirit and we can hear from HIM FOR OURSELVES. In the old testament we had to have prophets, but now we have the real PROPHET living in our hearts, JESUS!!! Save your money and your life, by not supporting false profits. I hope Randi and Cathy will repent and stop trying to be something they are not!!

I say these things, because I missed it so many times especially when receiving so many personal prophecies and giving them. If I cannot be accurate, then I better sit down and repent. I expect the same from others!

Steve Munsey-Paula White atonement scam

Steve Munsey seems to take himself seriously, he is serious about putting big bucks in his bank account and the so called "ministries" he does fundraising for.

Paula White seems to have gone off the deep end, but you must feed the giant that you have created when God removes His hand of blessing, you must manipulate to bring in the cash and pay the bills.

They have a new con, the seven blessings of the atonement, and they can be yours for an offering of any size.

The only trouble is they already belong to you, they do not have to be "activated" or God does not have to be "activated."

They have some kind of funny God that only acts when you give somebody money. That is not the God that I serve.

When Jesus died on the cross we became free from the law. Why would you want to be put back under it?

Steve and Paula promise you the world, but let me tell you something, God does not owe you anything, He is not in your debt. He will only give you what He wants to give you and you cannot make him do anything just because you give somebody an atonement offering.

Everyday is the Lord's day, He does not have special days, where He performs special miracles.

Steve and Paula need to repent! You can simply take up an offering if you need cash, but the "church" has become so deceived that now you must have some sort of fundraising gimmick to "GET" people to give. This is very sad. Please, find someone who has a great need and help them. We do not need another million dollar TV preacher.

The airwaves are full of the same faces saying almost the same things. How many times do you need to see Paula White in a day? In my area she comes on at least 4 times a day on different channels. This costs millions, so Paula manipulates you to pay her bills.

Galatians 4:9-11 "But now, after that ye have known God, or rather are known of God, how turn ye again to the weak and beggarly elements, where unto ye desire again to be in BONDAGE? Ye observe days, and months, and times, and years. I am AFRAID of you, lest I have bestowed upon you labour in vain."

Again, the seven blessings are yours as a child of God and they are FREE for the asking.

Paula and Steve I pray that you will repent!!

Nephilim or Fallen Angels ---that have fathered children

This will be a short statement from me about this subject. I do not believe in Nephilim or fallen angels that can father children with human beings.

I see nothing in scripture that can support this and the true fact is there is no SEX in heaven or angels with sex organs. Please excuse me for being so blunt, but these teachings border on the ridiculous.

Because there is no sex in heaven fallen angels or devils cannot grow body parts, unless the devil has become a creator and I know that is not true.

Please don't waste your time on foolish nonsense!!

Catholic "Church-Occult religion

I grew up a catholic. I attended catholic private school until I was 13 years old. I knew then I did not want to be in that "church."

I loved Jesus, but I did not know him! I knew I could never make heaven, I wasn't good enough, I could go to purgatory. I always lived in fear that I would die in mortal sin and not be able to confess my sins to a priest before I died.

If it snowed on Sunday and I could not get to church, I became hysterical, fearing I committed a mortal sin, at that time missing church on Sunday was a grave sin. A great way to manipulate you to attend church or else!!!

We had a banned book list, the King James Bible was on that list and we were told not to read anything by Martin Luther. God forbid we should believe by grace ye are saved, and not by works!!

I was always working for my salvation, laying prostrate before a crucifix, begging God to forgive me, going to church everyday, saying my rosary, reciting prayers over and over. I knew Jesus died, but we were told the Jews killed him. I thought, poor Jesus, he was murdered. I never understood He came to die. Nobody killed Him, He gave up His life for me.

I thought Mary really was the mother of God, that she was His real mother. I did not understand that God cannot have a mother, since He was not created. He always was.

God the Father implanted an embryo in Mary's womb, the bloodline is from the Father. Jesus did not have human DNA. If He did He could have sinned and His blood could not have atoned for our sins.

I worshiped Mary! I worshiped the dead saints, I payed money to say masses for dead relatives, so that they could go to heaven. The bible says "It is appointed unto man once to die and then the judgement." I was never told this.

We NEVER read the bible at catholic school, we were told not to read the bible on our own, because we could not understand it, only the priest could interpret it.

We have some of this in our churches today, when you are told to submit to your pastor and don't ask questions. You better ask questions and you better know your bible, lest some man lead you astray!!

If you get deceived it is YOUR fault, because the bible says to search the scriptures for yourself, to see if what people tell you is true.

No human being should be idolized or looked up to in an unnatural way. We all sin and make mistakes and we cannot live up to your expectations of perfection.

Most preachers demand you call them by their title and act superior to you, submit or else. This is unnatural behavior and pride.

When I was on the road preaching in churches, people expected me to be perfect, I did not want to be anybody, I knew that God was somebody. Jesus gave me freedom and I do not want to be bound by some religious system that is not realistic.

Prayer in school-who can stop YOU from praying???

Why all the fuss about prayer in school?? Who can stop you from praying?? Do we now have the prayer police?? NO!!!

Some "ministries" get you all excited about the "fact" they say that you cannot pray in school, but I just dare you to bow your head and pray and see who stops you!

Did you know that you can stand on public grounds and pray? A better witness is to gather before school for your prayer meeting, or why not take your kids to school and pray together on the grounds before you take them inside, for all to see.

Would you be so bold to witness like this instead of forcing everyone to pray? Did you know even God does not force people to pray? He gave everyone a free will and we should not violate the rights of others, by forcing them to pray to a God they do not believe in.

I think you can have prayer meetings inside schools, but not during school time and with people who want to participate. Can you show me one scripture that says we must force people to pray??

I believe we can be a better witness by showing people who we are and by not expecting them to participate in something they do not believe in.

Don't let people get you all excited about a right that has not yet been taken away from you.

Just think about it, who can stop you from praying???

Katrina-Will the real church please stand up

Our hearts have been broken over the recent events, and how now more than ever we see God has a government and His Kingdom is not of this world.

Over a million misplaced people and many, many, destroyed church buildings. In one day the work of man's hands was destroyed, but the church, which is not a building.but the people of God full of His Spirit cannot be destroyed.

Pastors collect tithes, which was not money in the old testament, but Food. The storehouse was a real building used to store for the stranger, the widow, the fatherless, the homeless, just in case a Katrina hit. We could learn from the unbelievers who gave out of a pure heart, not because they wanted a return as many Christians are taught to do.

God in one day will tear down our idols and force us to love our neighbor as ourselves and to believe what Paul the apostle said-"It is MORE blessed to GIVE than to Receive!!! Acts-20-35

Hurricane Katrina-a lesson for the church

We all should be crying out for mercy at this point. I cringe when I hear Christians blame the hurricane's devastating effects on sinners, homosexuals, and gamblers.

Many of our brethren suffered in this storm. Sinners sin, that's what they do. Gamblers gamble, God should destroy most of the church then, because judgement begins in the house of God and seed faith and giving God money to get something back is gambling! "Christian telethons" just like playing the slots.

Don't rejoice in the suffering of others. Don't feel they deserved it. We all deserve the worst! Have mercy and reach out and show compassion. This is the time for the church to arise and show Jesus to a lost and dying world!!

Benny Hinn has day of prayer for himself

Once a year Benny Hinn has a day of prayer for your finances, but Benny laughs all the way to the bank. Oh foolish Galatians-Who has BEWITCHED you?? Gal 3:1

Benny asks you to send in your seed faith gift, in other words you give him money and God gives you money, and after all he and Oral Roberts have a special in with God, so they have you believing that their special prayers and your offering will get your needs met-WRONG!!!

Save your money-and guess what just for the asking God will answer your prayers that you pray for yourself and you won't have to pay.

Now nothing wrong with someone praying for you or you giving a financial gift from the heart, but wake up my friends and don't be fooled. I hope Benny and Oral read this and that they will come clean and repent!!

Marcus and Joni Lamb-Why do you fleece the sheep(because it pays)

Daystar television network uses manipulative fundraising techniques to fund "Christian work". I tuned into Daystar never knowing about the Lamb's a few months ago. They seemed genuine and so I awaited their "Sharathon" to see what they really were all about.

Being in full time ministry myself at one time, I know how difficult it was to raise funds. Many times I was tempted myself to use techniques to get people to give, so that I could preach the gospel, but I knew those means of fundraising were wrong.

They bring out the big guns for telethons, the best manipulators in the world, Mike Murdock, Pastor Steve Munsey, Paula White, Juanita Bynum, T.D. Jakes, all those who sold out a long time ago in my opinion. I was on the inside and I know how things are done. You have to keep feeding the monster you created in the name of God, and when all else fails use manipulation, tug at the heartstrings of those in need, by promises you cannot keep, compromising the true gospel for the false.

The number one rule in our walk with the Lord is to love our neighbor as ourselves. To love God first, to do things for others out of a PURE heart. Not because we want something, or need something. God knows our needs even before we ask.

Marcus and Joni shame on you for bending to pressure! Shame on you for saying Daystar is blessed of God, when you know that is not true. What you have built is of your own doing. The Holy Spirit had nothing to do with it, except that people will continue to come to Christ in spite of you!

I hope that you will change- and repent of your evil deeds. In the name of Jesus I hope so.

Rod, I remember you in the 1980's, you seemed so real, so innocent, but has fame and fortune corrupted you?

Joel, I felt like I was slapped in the face after your comments on Larry King, June 2005. I felt depressed after hearing you hesitate to offend anyone with the gospel. Jesus said the gospel would offend.

Benny Hinn now appears in what looks like a priest costume and has Catholics on his "show" saying we all believe the same thing. We do not believe the same thing since in the vatican 2 papers they say there is only salvation in the Catholic System.
